This rare, deceptively simple, courtly textile has a subtle and under stated pattern within its central field, achieved by the use of two shades of green. There is an effect of gently rippling water, while the red and yellow patterns in the borders suggest candle flames.

Este singular tejido cortesano, de apariencia engañosamente sencilla, presenta un motivo sutil y discreto en su campo central, logrado mediante el uso de dos tonos de verde. Se crea un efecto visual de agua suavemente ondulada, mientras que los diseños rojos y amarillos de las cenefas evocan llamas de velas.
