505 |t Imagen de la portada:  |g West (?) Anatolian Kilim. 1.82 x 3.02m. "The composition of colours in this unique kilim, including a dark red, a dark purple, navy blue, and especially the light pink and a particularly rich yellow, are so rare in Anatolian kilims that is difficult to give it a certain provenance, or to include it in any of the known groups. Its wool and structure are certainly Anatolian. In all probability it originates from the western parts of the country, and perhaps from Banaz, between Ushak and Afyon. The composition is arranged in bands against a red ground, with fork-like protrusions and small comb-like motifs entering the field from the sides".
