- Imagen de la portada: West Persian Pictorial Rug. Possibly Feraghan or Sehna inscribed "The work of Saleh, year 1251" (1835 A.D.). The rug poses certain problems of attribution loosely comparable pictorial rugs have been tentatively attributed to Sehna in Persian Kurdistan, its structure is typical of west Persian (but not Kurdish) rugs of the late 19th century, and the inwoven date suggests that it was made at least a generation before the beginning of the "revival" period.
