Inscription: Farmayes Jenab-e Jalalatmab Ajal-e Akram-e Aqa-e Najaf Quli Khan Samsam al-Saltaneh Ilkhani amal-e Bakhtiari 1323 ("Order of the Honourable Most Noble His August Presence His Axcellency Najaf Quli Khan Samsam al-Saltaneh Ilkhani the work (of the) Bakhtian 1905/6"). This is one of the most beautiful of all the small "khan" rugs known. Technically and aesthetically, the Sandar Jang rug is among the most remarkable of all "khan" rugs, with an extremely fine weave of the type the Bakhtiari call Bibibaff.

Esta es una de las más bellas de todas las alfombras pequeñas de tipo "Khan" conocidas.
