- Imagen de la portada: Spectacular silk cloth made in the complex "ikat" technique, where the threads are dyed before the fabric is woven. It was made in the Bukhara region of Central Asia in the middle of the last century. Fabrics copying these patterns have become highly fashionable in present day textile design.
